MAY 10TH RIPE and EPIC are teaming up to host a recurring Invasive Plant Pull on the first Sunday of each month, with upcoming dates on May 10 and June 7 from 11 AM to 3 PM. The event takes place at the Lynn Vietor Nature Trail, located at 363 Indianola Road in Indianola, CA. Volunteers are encouraged to come dressed in thick, long-sleeved shirts and pants, and to bring sun protection, water, and gloves if available. Join EPIC and our allies Friends of the Eel River and the Coalition for Responsible Transportation Priorities (CRTP), for their monthly Solidarity Gathering at Humbrews in Arcata on April 13th from 5–7 pm. Come learn how to participate in community decision-making and help shape the future of our cities, rivers, and forests. CRTP will share about their campaign for safer local streets, and EPIC will teach you how to get involved in environmental policymaking in our region. Jo
