Save the Date for Public Land Stewardship Volunteer Workdays this Summer

Save the date! In partnership with California State Parks, EPIC is hosting four volunteer public land stewardship workdays this summer:
June 18, 9am-1pm - Rooting Out Invasive Plants at Trinidad State Beach. As a part of CA State Parks Week, we will be removing invasive non-native plant species such as English ivy, Scotch broom, English holly, and cotoneaster (9am-noon). Afterwards, enjoy a BBQ lunch and opportunity to learn more about all of the volunteer events held throughout the North Coast Redwoods District (noon-1pm). Registration is highly recommended.
July 8, 9am-noon - Rooting Out Invasive Plants at Trinidad State Beach.
August 12, 9am-1pm - Rooting Out Invasive Plants at Sue-Meg State Park.
August 26, 9am-noon - Azalea Restoration at Humboldt Lagoons State Park.
