Earth Day is this Monday, April 22nd, and we'll be celebrating all weekend! EPIC is participating in two awesome events this weekend, and we also want to let you know about a few more local Earth Day events hosted by some of our allies and sister organizations.

Saturday, April 20th 2-6:30pm — Zero Waste Market @ Arcata North Coast Co-op Parking Lot with Zero Waste Humboldt Along with food, craft vendors, non profits (including EPIC!), businesses... this year will include a KIDS clothing swap (Size 4T and up), plant swap, reuse popup, face painting, chalk, reading circle for kids... and more!
Sunday, April 21st 1-7pm — Earth Day Celebration @ Pierson Park, McKinleyville with the Decolonizing Economics Summit Bonus! Join the Northcoast Environmental Center (NEC) and the Coalition for Responsible Transportation Priorities (CRTP), two of EPIC’s sister organizations, for a group bike ride starting at 12pm at Moon Cycles in Arcata. Ride to Pierson Park for the Earth Day Celebration (a 7-mile, 40-minute ride), or opt to turn around at Mad River Bridge (a 4.5-mile, 25-minute ride).
