I am so excited to invite all of you to the Far Northern Regional Group of the Power in Nature coalition for our first webinar of the year! On Monday, May 19th at 2 p.m., we will be learning about the elk population on the North Coast from Carrington Hilson, CDFW's Elk Research Biologist, and Chance Cutrano, who is the Director of Programs at the Resource Renewal Institute.

Carrington will present some updates regarding the elk population on the North Coast. Chance will speak to the recent historic agreement on the Point Reyes National Seashore, and how wildlife management and advocacy have led to ecologically important lands being protected under 30x30.
The Zoom link for the webinar is HERE, and also clickable on the flyer displayed below.
The webinar will be recorded and circulated in the monthly Power in Nature e-newsletter. If you don’t want to sign up for the coalition, but would like a recording of the webinar afterwards, reach out to me, Josefina Barrantes <josefina@wildcalifornia.org>.
The Power in Nature coalition is an amalgamation of just under 300 eNGOs, tribal and community organizations, and land trusts all working together to advocate for 30x30 in California. 30x30 is an initiative to conserve 30% of land and coastal waters by the year 2030. EPIC leads the Far Northern Regional group of the Power in Nature coalition and hosts webinars to help educate our members on regional opportunities for conservation.
