The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors will discuss whether to support AB 2494 at its regular Board meeting on April 21, 2026. AB 2494 (Rogers) is a bill sponsored by EPIC to modernize management over Demonstration State Forests statewide. Make a public comment in person or virtually at the Supervisor’s meeting on April 21, 2026. The agenda and the Zoom meeting link will be posted on the County website

On March 23rd, legislation sponsored by EPIC and authored by Asm. Chris Rogers passed out of its first legislative committee, the Assembly Natural Resources Committee.
