On Saturday April 12 EPIC will co-host a hike through a threatened forest near Happy Camp.

We will meet in Arcata at the Co-op at 8 a.m. to caravan and converge with other participants at the Indian River Access, along Hwy 96 at Happy Camp by 11 a.m.

Come witness the biologically rich old growth forests that are rejuvenating from last summers fire. Join staff from EPIC, the Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center the Northcoast Environmental Center and the Klamath Forest Alliance in a discussion about the ecological problems related to industrial salvage logging and fire suppression.
