Through our Forest Watch project, volunteers will assist EPIC in documenting the attempt to turn the last wild places in our National Forests over to the logging industry. Forest monitors will do critical "ground-truthing" of timber sales, inspect and document potential impacts, and discover what's important and unique in every threatened place.
And for those more inclined to a pleasant informational hike than an all-day bushwhack, the Forest Watch program will also be organizing and leading day hikes into some of the loveliest and most threatened places on our public lands, helping you make the connection that can make all the difference.
Get Involved - Take a Hike!
If you'd like to volunteer with a forest monitoring team or take a stroll to see what the Bush Administration has in store for your National Forests, please give EPIC a call or drop us a line. The schedule for hikes and other information will be posted and updated on our website under our National Forest Conservation program.
